  • December: Minories Christmas Market
  • December: visit to the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition at the National Gallery
  • November: 35th AGM, buffet lunch followed by a talk by Emma Roodhouse, Chief Art Curator at Colchester and Ipswich Museums, on their Fine Art Collections
  • November: Glyndebourne Touring Opera's performance of Donizetti’s Don Pasquale at the Theatre Royal in Norwich
  • October: Visit to Hever Castle, home of Anne Boleyn, in Kent
  • July: Colchester Art Society The Joan MIRO Exhibition at Tate Modern and The Cult of Beauty at the V&A

2010

  • November: Visit to Theatre Royal, Norwich, by coach to hear Glyndebourne Touring Opera's production of Mozart's Don Giovanni.
  • November: Friends AGM after a buffet lunch at the Minories Bistro, followed by an illustrated talk by the Chairman of Colchester Museums and Former Deputy  Curator of Colchester Castle, MARK DAVIES, on "BREAD & CIRCUSES  ENTERTAINMENT IN ROMAN COLCHESTER".
  • September: Visit to Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk.
  • June:  Illustrated Talk by Gerald Nason A.R.C.A. 'Mostly Books' and visit to Henry Moore Foundation, Perry Green, both in association with Colchester Art Society.
  • May: Visit to Handel's House & The Foundling Museum.
  • April: Easter Market at the Minories in conjunction with the Art, Design and Media Centre.
  • February: visit to The Real Van Gogh: the Artist and his letters exhibition.
